You get passionate about what you involve yourself with and are excited by the idea of being out in the community virtually to meet potential students. Your organizational skills go without saying and you are comfortable processing a large number of admin type tasks in a fast paced environment. 

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting into the National Admissions Manager, the Admissions Coordinator will be the first point of contact for applicants and potential applicants. You will be responsible for handling the entire funnel, from application through to student onboarding. This includes being comfortable dealing with people, paper and process. You’ll need to:

  • Execute the full cycle admissions process from when a student applies to their first day of class;
  • Report stats and qualitative analysis on the health of the admissions pipeline and process;
  • Emails, scheduling, CRM management, interviewing, follow up, decision making, Invoicing etc.;
  • Responding to student inquiries via email and phone;
  • Collaborate with other departments including Marketing, Education and Career Services;
  • Take initiative to suggest improvements on the process and other areas around admissions;
  • Data entry and upkeep;
  • Attend virtual industry events (Career Fairs, Meetups etc.);
  • Help initiate, innovate and execute on the various other exciting things Lighthouse Labs has on the go.

What we need from you:

  • 6 months+ relevant experience (post-secondary experience preferred);
  • Experience leading interviews;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously;
  • Strong and diligent judgment;
  • Proactive;
  • A critical thinker;
  • Adaptability;
  • Strong “people” skills:
    • Empathetic;
    • Open and friendly with the ability to command respect; respect others, in turn
    • Great communicator; 
  • Desire to work in a fast paced environment and eager to take on new challenges;
  • CRM Experience (Asset);
  • A genuine interest in people with the passion to help them succeed
